It has a fuel economy of 22.7 mpg for the 1000 cc gasoline engine. That's good for me considering today's fuel economy.

But if you lose gas all of a sudden, don't blame the Tomcar's engine quickly. Remember, fuel consumption varies given the terrain you are going over and your style of driving.

I've read that somewhere and just thought of sharing it here.

Sweet. For an off-road vehicle that is economically efficient indeed. Off-road vehicles are expected to consume a lot of gas because it requires a lot of energy for various types of terrains.

You must be right beaver. Some people tend to put their blame on the engine right away. They should think of some reasons why they run out of gas quickly. Car's engine maybe one of the factors why the gas consumption is a bit high but it's not the major factor. I think we should all keep that in mind.
