Just bought a 2011 Tomcar TM2, red, gas, 1/2 doors, shade and spare tire & mount.

My wife and I have been renting these things in Sedona AZ the past 4 vacations... We love'em. Believe it or not, she was the one that said we got to get one of these... Not being one to disappoint her... we now have one.

We've had it out a couple of times at our local 4 wheel drive park... Hollister Hills if anyone one knows where that is.

We live in San Jose, CA and are looking for places to ride within a few hours of here... out and back in the same day. Maybe Tahoe area for overnighters.

I've already noticed: No Manual or parts brake-down available... at least so far as I've found. My Sales guy says all I need to do is call him, but I'm more hands on than that. I'd rather give him the part number so I can be sure... Like I do my dirt bikes.

I've never joined a Forum before... I'm more of a talker than a typer... So I apologize in advance for my lack of computer skills. Either way, It's nice to be part of the Tomcar Crowd.

Welcome to anywhere and back! My wife suggested the 4 seater! Great to hear you are enjoying the tomcar. As far as parts go just carry a spare drive belt and some tierod ends and you should be set. Dont be afraid to beat the living heck out of the tomcar! we own a 2006 TM4 and have a blast every time out. Check out the pics in my album and see howwe do it in Alberta Canada. Happy trails!

Thanks for the welcome... Sorry, but I don't know how to look up those pictures, Buffaloman. Once I get he hang of this typing (hunt and peck) and forum, I'm sure I'll follow just fine.

And Dom, yes my guy Anthony at Sanderson Ford, Glendale, AZ just E mailed me saying he's got a disk for me... he probably isn't as good as Eric but for now he's my guy.

I had to weld a bracket on the bed to fit the motorcycle size license plate.
Also cut an inch off the bottom steel clamping bracket to fit my spare tire mount... the one that holds the aluminum wheel, It's different than the steel wheel mount. I took pictures of both... well you know the rest...

I can't wait to go out again. Thinking about LakeTahoe area... any suggestions.

Ok, Buffloman... Just saw those pictures... Wow! Now that's what I'm talking about. Not sure I want to see any mud like that, but I can clearly see you're in the spirit of it.
